ABOUT

"After a Suicide" is the second edition of a free online directory maintained -- as a public service on behalf of the suicide bereaved -- by Franklin Cook, owner of Personal Grief Coaching, which provides peer-based telephone support to anyone grieving a traumatic death of any kind. The current edition of "After a Suicide" was updated, renamed, and launched in early 2015. The first edition -- the "Suicide Grief Support Quick Reference," published in 2012 -- was developed by a volunteer work group in collaboration with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Consumer-Survivor Subcommittee. Franklin led the original development effort and has maintained the site ever since -- and he welcomes constructive comments, questions, or feedback about the site and its contents (please see the Contact page).
